AMERICAN IDOL 2010 (Season 9)–Current Las Vegas Odds For The Final 16

Category: Movies/TV,Music — jerry @ 11:10 am

I was somewhat surprised to see what the Bodog site is listing for odds this week.

Bowersox & Dewyze are the big favorites, with Magnus and Garcia close behind.  I think both of those ladies will outlast the gents, but that there is a good chance that none of them will make it to the finals.

I thought Big Mike Lynche killed it last week with “This Is A Man’s World”.  One of the best things of seen on the show over the years.  He’s 40 to 1?  I need to load up on that bet.  Here’s the full odds:

Aaron Kelly    22/1
Alex Lambert    20/1
Andrew Garcia    6/1
Casey James    11/2
Crystal Bowersox    4/1
Didi Benami    20/1
Katelyn Epperly    16/1
Katie Stevens    12/1
Lacey Brown    50/1
Lee Dewyze    9/2
Lilly Scott        12/1
Michael Lynche    40/1
Paige Miles    30/1
Siobhan Magnus    5/1
Tim Urban    70/1
Todrick Hall    50/1

  1. This is just to funny. I have Christina Aguilera’a performance of this song in her tribute to James Brown on the Grammys a couple of years ago.

He totally ripped her off. So, funny to see this big black guy try to out do Aguilera. Even down to the stage presence.

I got hooked on Aguilera with her performance at the grammys and actually went to see her in concert in Tampa. What a riot. The Pussy Cat Dolls opened for her.

How about that, Pettit? You believe this 60 yo is an Aguilera fan???

Oh, Big Mike – not a chance. Bowersox will walk awaay with the award.

  2. Hey, Clark. Glad you got your computer working again.

    :-)

Hey, I’m a huge Aguilera fan myself. (She’s my favorite Mouseketeer…)

I’m not that big of a fan of ANY of the singers so far. I like Bowersox, but have been finding ALL of them a little too bland. I just thought that Big Mike’s performance was the first one that rose above the lot. Bowersox is solid, but lacks charisma–so I don’t know if she is going to last, although I agree she’ll be around a while. Certainly top five and maybe top three is my prediction.

  3. The computer problem was a good one. The TCP MTU setting in Vista is not compatible with old routers. You must use a command line prompt to change the MTU setting to 1500 on Vista computers, or get a new router. I got a new router and everything is OK. Southwestairlines.com would never come up just like your blog site. There is some documentation if one googles the problem.

I agree there’s no Adam Lambert or Daughtry this year, and the girls are much better then the boys.

And WTF are two old men doing blogging about American Idol?!? I need a psychologist!

  4. Perhaps Adam Lambert’s single from the soundtrack to the impressive problems film 2012 should be named, “Maybe It’s Here we are at a Energy Ballad.” The present pop music atmosphere is so covered with uptempo music at this time, a real traditional power ballad seems like an thrilling breathing of clean air. Add to that sensation that this is also a very very good one that I suppose would make Jim Steinman and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler extremely pleased. Those who have with patience waited with patience to listen to new music from Adam Lambert are very unlikely to be frustrated with “Time for Wonders.”..
