Stock Picks–Nov. 28, 2012

I think we need to be careful with this one, but I’ve decided to buy some hhgregg, Inc. (HGG), which is a retailer of home electronics.

I don’t expect much action from it for a while, but hope that it outperforms the market long-term. Again: Be careful.

Good luck!

  1. A couple of these just opened around me. I heard a commercial announcing the store openings the other day and thought to myself, “I wonder how long before that place is announcing a going out of business sale.”

  2. I had never heard of them before yesterday. They HAVE been tanking over the last year or so and have a perilously low P/E ratio of less than 4 so are much out of favor. Maybe they’re a buyout candidate for some healthier company. Caveat Emptor!
