Last Tuesday, Blake Lewis briefly mentioned that he uses a piece of software called Ableton Live to work on his unusual arrangements.
I have owned the software for several years, although I do not use it much–not that it’s a bad program. I have quite a few other programs that I use more (plus I’ve put my “music career” on hiatus for about a year now, and besides–my dedicated music computer is on the blink).
If you’re curious as to what the software does, visit the site. If you’re brand new to MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) and computer-generated music, it may be a little overwhelming to you. Nonetheless, it is my passion.
